Happy Holidays 2013To all our current patients and associates, we thank you for giving us the opportunity to help you on your weight loss journey towards better health! We know at times it is not easy in our society so laden with high fat, high caloric foods. In fact, some experts in the obesity field call it an “obesigenic” society. However, the rewards of weight loss and improvement in your health are one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself! Remembering all the small things that improve as you lose weight (fitting into seats more comfortably, bending over and tying your shoes, etc., shopping for normal-size clothing etc.), can help provide motivation for continued weight loss. Also, remembering why you started your weight loss journey (ie. For health or personal reasons) can be very helpful.

For all prospective patients, even small steps during the holidays can put you on the right path. If possible, just daily walking and movement, and reducing portions can be helpful! You may want to keep a food journal or a daily log of your activity and eating.
